Albert Drive West Killara Bush Regeneration Group
All Saints Green Machine
More details
Group Objective:
To maintain the natural bushland.
The College had recently undergone significant building work on the property which resulted in the restoration of our natural bushland. Students became interested in this restoration of the bush so together with a teacher now do regular maintenance in the bush on our site. We have also invited an active volunteer involed with bush regeneration to speak to the students about the rare plant and other unusual plants that are growing in small pockets on the ridge. These plants are quite unique to this area.

Page 1 2 3 4 5 6 Landcare groups
Landcare is a national network of thousands of locally-based, independent community groups who care for our country. Group members include landholders and other volunteers who may contribute a few hours a week or many hours a month. Many groups are looking for new members or occasional volunteers.
Regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) organisations
Regional NRM organisations like Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs) are implementing regional investment strategies. They are a good source of information about priorities issues, funding opportunities and support at the regional and local level.
Disclaimer
The National Landcare Directory contains contacts for independent, community-run landcare and other environmental community groups. Landcare Australia is not a peak representative body for these independent groups. Landcare Australia does not accept responsibility for the content of their sites, for their projects or campaigns. People using the Directory to find a group to volunteer with or support can enquire further about a group by contacting their regional NRM facilitator (eg Catchment Management Authority) or local Council.
